Sometimes an animal’s basic welfare is at risk — a stray who needs rescue, a pet whose family can’t cover food right now, an animal who needs a safe place to stay for a while. Our Animal Initiative steps in with direct support, and connects animals and families with the community resources they need.
It reflects something we believe across all of our work: meaningful change often begins with one person deciding that someone else’s situation is worth caring about.
